Flash Fiction from Ithaca
A spark, a shock, a critical moment. The pieces in this Flash Fiction Pocket Anthology draw us in and leave us unsettled. All different people, different ages and in various places—but in each, the mind is turned, bent in some irreversible way. The three writers here call the finger lakes area of New York State their home—an area provocatively marked with long, thin bodies of water that could be metacarpal geographies or, alternately, rips torn in the map. Whether this has affected these writers or not, we celebrate the flashes they have shared with us here. |
